Browsing any thread about American fighter planes in GBS on Something Awful always lets you know how many misguided punk kids think Russian planes were TOTALLY RAD BADASS. Sure, some ugly, inferior, all stainless steel Soviet warbird was the greatest thing with wings. If ever there was an indicator that someone was a maladjusted loser, it's a deep love of Soviet crap. The goons are always showing off some cheap knockoff of a Soviet military watch in "show your stuff" threads like it's something to be proud of. I suppose the knockoffs are better quality than the real deal, because Glorious People's Collective Watch Faktory made movements that would lose up to half a minute a day.
