Republicans defeated the "Net Neutrality" bill the other day. Great news, as now telcos can be even more greedy! They can slow IP traffic they want to discourage, charge twice for bandwidth, and make Google, Yahoo, etc. pay more because they use a lot of bandwidth. I know Republicans are supposed to be business friendly, but this is ridiculous. Chalk one up to ignorance and lobbyists.
In my fantasy world Google would start providing its own access and Comcast dies a lonely death.
